NS If "As Shadows Fall Over Zenitheaen" was a love letter to Lamentation from the mastermind behind Mournful Moon, then "Rose Velvet Dynasty" is an ode to the grandeur of Hellenic Black Metal. Track 2 takes a dive straight into Varathron "Walpurgisnacht" territory with driving, triumphant riffs. The signature synth work, particularly on tracks 5 and 7, brings to mind the theatrics of Agatus or Necromantia. A journey of pure drama, nostalgia, and romanticism. Explicitly Greek, highly recommended. Favorite track: Sea Of Consciousness.
